A Birthday Review

It's been a few weeks now...but here is look back at Lorelai's 8th birthday:

And that's how you turn 8!

Sick

I am sick. So, so sick. Every which way kind of sick. I spent most of yesterday in bed - with the exception of a brief outing to pick up the children from school with Donald (that proved to be a big mistake...my fever shot up while in the car and I was aching to be back in bed).

Needless to say, it was a miserable day. The only highlight came at one point when I stumbled out of bed to find Alexandra in the family room doing all the ironing for me. My heart melted. I love that girl.

Today is shaping up to be another lay-in-bed-all-day kind of day.

Ugh.
