Girls Dormitory

Well....we did it. One room down, several more to go. Here is a look at our weekends work:

This canopy crib was mine when I was a baby.

This is my favorite detail of the room - green toile ribbon that I tied to the finials of the crib.

The finished product.

The only change remaining is to replace the four poster bed with a bunk bed for the two older children, allowing Elisabeth to take over the crib. This will happen as soon as I am willing to let her leave the cradle at my bedside.....it could be a while.....

I think it is gorgeous! Let me know how it works having them share a room...
We will be moving soon, and since we are moving into Army housing again, I know we will have a lot less space. I am considering having them share a bedroom and having a playroom. That way the place where they sleep can be a nice serene space... not one cluttered with toys!

WOW!!! I love what you've done, and the little details are excellent. What a cute room! Oh, you just made me want to get into a house even more (which I didn't think possible) so I can decorate.

You did a lovely job! I think all girls should have a sister to share a room with!

That was fast! It's gorgeous of course. Are you going to paint the other rooms or leave them the colors they are?

You guys are fast fast workers. Amazing. My oldest girls share the bonus room and I think it makes for a great room. It's big and roomy and gives them enough space to call their own.

Good job, it looks great.

Hi Lisa I do not think you will remember who I am, but I was at the blogger luncheon. You are so talented! This room is beautiful. I have been in a little bit stuck with how to decorate my little girls room, you are giving me some inspriation.
