Inching Along

A few days ago, Elisabeth made her first attempt at army crawling. Needless to say, Donald and I are ecstatic! Our dear baby has beat all the odds and continues to amaze us with her development.

Have a look:

Elisabeth Elva ~ 21 months old

That is incredible!! I think Elisabeth was holding out so that she could make an entrance with her abilities! What a miracle!

How cool is that? Way to go Elisabeth!!! It even looks like she tries to lift her belly up towards the middle of the video. She's doing so great!

That's amazing! When ballet is back in session, she'll have some new tricks up her sleeve!

We do have another fireworks show to take Cayman to on the 4th. My little sister Madison, and our two nieces, Sidney and CeCe are going to join us. It should be a lot of fun! Hopefully Elisabeth won't be scared. Cayman loves noise. Mike's good at making lots of silly sounds so we tease that she is seldom scared because she's use to her goofy daddy! :-)

I am sure your doctors are as equally if not more amazed at the astounding feat. She looks so tall for 21 months. I am excited for your family. It's always fun to see your kids learn new things.

Her movement is indeed fabulous! Looks to me like she is using both sides equally - very nice! The fact that she wants to move - has the desire and thought - is also a wonderful indicator of thinking ability.

Amazing! What a blessing. She is one fantastic kiddo!

I agree with Barbara. The thing that excites me the most is the fact that she WANTS to move around. I love the video but seeing it in person is way better. I also love how Lorelai just carries on while the camara is rolling.

What I love is not that she's doing it, it's that she KNOWS she's doing it :)

AHHHH! I can't get my little computer at the hospital to play the video and it's driving me insane! I will have to see if it will work for me on YouTube. So exciting!!

I think it's the encouragment of her big sisters that is enabling her to progress-she is so lucky to have sisters who love her so much!

So hearing Alexandra and Lorelai cheering in the background was pretty cute, but the best part was seeing Elisabeth's progress. You and Don have been amazing parents to this little one and this is just a tiny glimpse of a payback (every other day is the rest of the payback, of course!). Love her!

WAY TO GO Elisabeth!!!!!!!

I am SO excited to watch you develop and grow!

Look at her go! She is so amazing!! What a fantastic little girl!

I have to admit, when I first heard sister whispering "Get that ball!" for a split second I thought it was Elisabeth and my heart stopped! I was completely amazed!

With her determination and the incredible love that surrounds her, I am sure that one day she will be walking and talking with her sisters. She's a miracle girl. :c)
