Yesterday was emotional for Alexandra. She had both tears of pain and tears of gratitude as she began the recovery process. There were knocks at the door all day long with visitors coming to wish her well. And she received call after call from friends and family wanting to check up on her. She was overwhelmed at the kindness that was being showered upon her and even teared up on multiple occasions saying, "I am so blessed to have people that love me and want to take care of me".
A warm thank you to all who lifted her spirits yesterday. It made all the difference to my little 6 year old.
