Car Show

On Saturday the Nova was entered into its 2nd car show.

Do you know what goes on at car shows?

A lot of car talk. Men 'oohing' and 'aahing'
over things like engines (boring).

Me on the other hand,
I judge cars on how shiny they are.

"Ooh...Donald, look at that one," said Lisa as she
pointed to a shiny red 1960-something corvette.

Sadly, the Nova drove away empty handed.

(Did I ever mention that it won a trophy
at the last show we entered it in?)

One more thing:

Real men push pink strollers.

Bahaha...Real men do push pink strollers!

Sorry the Nova didn't win anything, Good luck next time!

Also, I too would judge by how shiny they were

Tiago would be in heaven. I am sure that he would be overwhelmed. Funny how the first thing I noticed on the pink stroller picture was the lovely green and weed free grass.

We went to a car show this weekend too. There was very loud music playing! Why I don't know! The men there were 2 generations older than the music!
In Ohio, there's a car show nearby every weekend. At fairgrounds, grocery stores, Walmart. Where ever they can park!

The first thing I noticed was how skinny Donald looks! Dang Lisa! The Sorensons are becoming quite the fit group!

Is Alexandra crossing her eyes in that pic or am I imagining things?

Getting out of the house and spending family time is always a good thing. Even if Donald came away empty handed. :)

Your weather looks really nice by the way.

I rode around in high school in my friends old nova. The floor of the passenger seat had a hole clean through and you could see the road whizzing by below you, it was a little unsettling.
Your Nova on the other had is quite the car. I think that's great Donald has a car to be proud of.

Thanks for that comment!

My family is VERY hard on me. Not Aaron or my kids, but my sisters are.

I just feel like I am still learning and accepting everything. In no way am I ungrateful.

Thank you for being there.

It means more to me than you will EVER know!!!

We're mustang people over here. Josh admires the working parts while I admire the others. Like stitching in the leather, wooden floorboards, different knobs on gear shifters, carpet, stuff like that. We could have fun together!
