When I got home from the concert last night I went upstairs to check on the girls. I found that Lorelai had snuck out of her bed and into Elisabeth's crib where they were snuggled together. Sisterly love.
Elisabeth was burning hot when Donald put her to bed last night, but thankfully she awoke this morning without a temperature.
We are still waiting to hear back from the doctor in regards to her platelet levels. There is a good chance that we will take her in for a transfusion to boost them back up. But the big question is, why are they so low? They are down to the exact level they were in March when she was admitted to the hospital for 5 days. Is her medication the cause? Or if it isn't, why can't her body keep the platelets at a normal level? Questions, questions....
