The Corning
Museum of Glass

The glass museum was amazing. And huge. Room upon room of glass art, both historical and modern. I kept thinking that it was probably a good thing that it was located in an earthquake-free zone.
The children enjoyed looking at the art. Alexandra would sit with uncle David and put her hand under her chin in a thoughtful way while she studied the different pieces. And at one point she said to him, "This piece is nice, but I prefer the work of Ronald Cruiser."
LOL! That girl cracks me up! We have a dignified art critic in our family!

[Lorelai, posing next to my favorite art piece. Do you love the girls Lucy shirts? I do.]

There were a lot of interactive displays as well. Unfortunately, our children were still too young to make their own blown glass, but they were able to decorate and sandblast a few custom glasses.

The perfect souvenir!
