One day, when she was just a few months old, her mother introduced her to the piano. Elisabeth quickly fell in love with the instrument...both the sound and the feel.
Elisabeth's big sisters had an old, plastic alligator piano that became her favorite toy. She would sit next to it all the day through and pound the keys, fascinated by the music that she herself was making.
The alligator piano became a trusted friend and companion. It even accompanied her on long {and boring} hospital stays. But alas, the piano started to get old and worn. Keys broke off and the sound grew weak.
Well, as it turns out, Santa Claus heard of the poor dying piano and had the elves get quickly to work creating a very special gift. When Elisabeth awoke on Christmas morning, there under the tree was a brand new, shiny, red piano....just her size!
Elisabeth took her place at the piano and began plunking out notes. It was love at first sound.
And they lived happily ever after.

Part of me will miss the Pianosaurus, but that new one looks perfect for her!!
This story is sweet music to my ears.
Oh my gosh! Look at her sitting up at the piano all by herself! She looks so great!! What a precious story.
Picture perfect!
That is the cutest piano, looks like Schroeder on Charlie Brown cartoons!
She'll be a musical prodigy!
I didn't know that she had gotten a new piano. And a real and true toy piano as well. Please tell me that it really plays and it's not those annoying electronic notes that everything "musical" seems to employ these days.
I am going to have to come over and watch her play it. She can do a concert for grandma, just like Lex likes to do!
What a precious gift!
What a beautiful gift you have given Elisabeth. And I'm not just talking about the new piano. I mean the gift of music. Beautiful!
That is a beautiful red piano. Santa Claus knows all--and he knew the perfect gift for a very special little girl.
how sweet is that love it!!
Sweetest story ever!
That is the sweetest little piano! A sweet piano for a sweet little girl.
That is so precious! I love it, when do we get to hear the concert?
Okay, how cute is that piano! I love that Elisabeth has a passion for the piano and music.

Oh, how sweet!
I love this! I love how you have found a way for Elizabeth to express herself. I do belive that you and Donald should get the parents of the year award for all that you do for your very lucky three little sweeties.
Oh my goodness that is cute. What a perfect gift and it's so shiny and new! What a lucky girl!
I'm crying :) Look at Elisabeth sitting there like the big girl she is! I'm so happy for her shiny new piano!
