New Wheels

Elisabeth's new wheel chair arrived...at long last. The first thing we did was roll her right up to the piano and it was just as I imagined. She sat there and pounded to her hearts content while Lorelai, our resident pianist, was there to give her a few tips...

Now we just need to figure out how to adjust it to fit her, because right now it's all wrong; the seat needs to be much deeper. Hopefully this week we can get the expert out to help us with that.

We got a separate base for the house (pictured below). It can go up and down to any height. The seat can then come off and go onto a different set of wheels for when we are out and about.

[Yes, the harness does appear to be choking Miss Elisabeth in this picture...I readjusted it shortly after the photo was taken, so not to worry.]

Next on my to-do list: figure out how to doll it up a little because right now it is a little boring. I am thinking some stick on jewels might just do the trick....
